Hey there, thank you for stopping by. I want to let you know I have taken all the blog posts from here and moved them to my website http://www.3gaels.com come check me out over there to read these and some newer posts and to see more art.
My name is Sue, and this site is all about me getting back into those things that bring me joy. I have started a little studio in hopes I can do what I love and create some joy for myself and for others and maybe even a small business while I am at, who knows maybe one day it will be my only job.
I have been creating and crafting in almost every medium since I was very young, I sold my first piece at age 8 and have given many pieces away to friends, family and the odd ‘well known’ personality. I enjoy the creating, whether it’s good or not, just the sheer pleasure of losing yourself for a little while is worth it.
As is the norm we give up many of our loves and hobbies for the ‘typical’ life of working to maintain and raise our children hoping we give them all they need. As I reach my mid fifties, I realize that it was the art and creativity that had kept me balanced and stress free and it is that which will allow me to live a life filled with passion and move forward in a career. Without knowing I have instilled to my children the same sentiment that ‘you must do what you love to maintain passion in your work and therefore your life’.
You can also find my art work on sites such as Behance and DeviantArt and for sale at sites such as RedBubble, TeePublic and Society6 for Tshirts, mugs, phone cases and poster art. Come say Hello on FaceBook, Twitter or Instagram.
